Can you do these combos with shields?

Just wondering, do they respawn in the medows? Cus i hunted a fair few and i cant find any now. If yes, how much time needs to go by before they can respawn?

Day 1850+ in our only valheim world and still never seen a 2 star boar, we've got a 2 star wolf farm, lox farm, and chicken farm setup now so we don't even need it. But damn it we are completionists, we need the 2 star boar farm. Never even heard of the runestones being spawn points, wish us luck

Something worth noting and revisiting is the Krom and potentially other slower weapons if any came out in ashlands. Holding the attack buttons was never REALLY part of the equation and more to add simplicity. Attempting to do a regular power combo with the Krom while tapping to attack instead allows you to negate the slow windup of the first attack for a bit of extra DPS. effectively allowing you to do 2 fast hits into the third hit instead of having to restart the combo.

0:25 Am I missing something? Aren't there WAY more than 2 creatures that change model depending on star? You got Wolfs, Trolls, Greydwarfs, Draugrs/Elites, Fulings, Berserkers, Seekers, Seeker soldiers, Mistland Rabbits, Ticks, and maybe a few more I missed.

I don't get why people don't spend much time at all studying where best to sell them: when you have a full inventory loaded with crystals, selling them for 20800u or 212000u does make a difference! An inventory of 5*10 (full screen) is 50 slots, you can hold 500 crystals stacked by 10. My current worst price found is 208 601 * 500 = 104 300 500 My current best price found is 212 730 * 500 = 106 365 000 So apparently everybody thinks a 2.06 million difference is absolutely marginal, it totally wouldn't make your runs more efficient in the long run. PS: in case it's of help to anyone, the best price I found is in: a Korvax system, 2* Scientific economy, 78.5% sell, -12% buy, "adequate", level 3 "Formidable" conflict. I tried visiting a 3* Scientific Korvax system but didn't get a better price so I still don't quite know what combination of factors makes the best price.

I'm glad to see a more in-depth guide to these techniques. I keep trying to find more interesting mechanics in Valheim, and this was my biggest find. It's a shame the new dual-axes in the Ashlands work so poorly with this combo, though I highly recommend using the dual knives from Mistlands with it. You can get some ridiculous damage numbers if you get the timing right.

How can u tell its 800m from world spawn/center?

I found out that you dont need to start with blocking it can be also done in that way that you first attack and right at the end you hold attack and block to perform the hidden combo also in my opinion it is more forgiving than with the block. Just tested it on faster weapons it is easier to pull of and also when you do it this way you dont need to hold down block you can just click it and hold just the attack i have tested it

I didn't learn everything. I just tamed a one star boar, and I can't get it to move out of the corner of it's pen. I'm trying to push it to the other pen I have to breed them. When I push it to move where I want it to, it will only move a few meters then it pushes back to the same corner of the pen and won't budge again. Anyone else have this problem?

This is with infinite stamina though right? I think the most relevant representation would be showcasing with realistic stamina drain to truly showcase which method is best. Great information regardless, thanks for posting!

Hey mate good luck with the new job! Yeah it can be tough trying to make something when you're not in the right headspace. I've found just taking a break or working on something less serious then coming back seems to help. I've got about 3 unfinished videos like that haha. My guess as to why the boar video got picked up more than say the greydwarf one is that the thumbnail seems a bit "cleaner". It might be because some of your text can blend in a bit with the background, for example the "Valheim" logo blends in more in the greydwarf thumbnail. Maybe you could outline it a little to make it stand out? Same with the main text, and in particular the word "everything" in red can be a little hard to read. But then again, you got 50k views on the power combo video so it's clearly not too important. I also don't like most of my own thumbnails (especially the older ones) so maybe I shouldn't be giving advice 🤣 Anyway I think you're onto a good thing with the style of videos you're making and when Ashlands come out it will definitely be a good time to grow.

Man when I hold block my character doesn't do attacks when I press the primary or secondary attack buttons. Is that normal?

So i was doing some testing. You can actually start the primary and secondary combos another way. No need for block, jump, or crouch. Just start with 1 single primary swing. Then go into the combo with Block + Primary, then secondary and dodge spam (for big bigga boom combo) just like you would normally do for the combos. It means you can run at enemies and initiate attacks without having to block or jump first.

Did u know u can get a 2 hit secondary straight off the bat with s? Works very well for a quick punch of damage. Faster than the big bigga boom (but not as powerful) I recently found this vid of it: ua-cam.com/video/KzJMEM8CxLY/v-deo.htmlsi=Q-unoEVZ9pvXH1D3 Imma try to see if it will combo off anything. It's just like the knifes last two hits of its secondary combo, but no build up beforehand

Is it possible to do the big bigga boom combo using a jump primary start? I havent been able to get the roll to go off.

What’s the different between lings and dwarfs dwarf

I used these with my solo run using knives. That’s where I got the most practice, but I really only did the jump combo consistently. I need to try the other ones
